However, publishers are all over the board when it comes to making their books available for libraries to purchase. Some publishers won’t sell their ebooks to libraries at all; others charge a price that is hundreds of percent more than individuals pay to purchase the book; and some put restrictions on the number of times a book can be loaned.

Here is a site where you can sign a petition to publishers to allow ebooks in libraries. If it’s important to you that libraries have plenty of ebooks to lend, please visit it and sign the online petition. Thanks!
