Let’s go Geocaching! Sept 25th 6-8pm

Come join Larry and Lesa Cole at the library and learn about GEOCACHING!

GEOCACHING is a modern day treasure hunt where you find hidden “treasure boxes” or caches using GPS coordinance. These are hidden all over the world. You have probably passed one each day of your life.

We will teach you WHAT a geocache is.

How to get your account set up.
How to begin finding geocaches
How to begin placing your own caches
The do’s and don’ts of geocaching

And, those present (teams or single) will make their own geocache to place at their leisure.

We will provide the container and the materials to camouflage it.

All YOU need to do is bring what “booty” or goodies that you want to put inside your cache.
And of course your GPS if you have one.

Come and join us on Friday, September 25th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Be thinking of a name that you would like to use for your Geocaching account and team.
IE: joeandella

Class to be given in the west room of the Library. You may enter via the door by the  parking lot at 6pm.

Please call or come by the library to confirm your attendance.

Thanks and we hope to see you there!
